Position: Office Manager (CHANGE TO H1)
MBI is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Office Manager to join our team!


Salary:
$60K – $90K depending on experience
Location: Mt.Brydges in office

Key Responsibilities Include:
๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž:
โ— Maintain and organize accounting records
โ— Review project / job profitability
โ— Manage / optimize company working capital
โ— Process customer invoices and monitor collection
โ— Supervise payroll and accounts payable functions
โ— Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
โ— Procurement of office supplies and services
โ— Manage the inventory from a financial point of view
โ— Manage cashflow
โ— Prepare and remit all taxes
โ— Prepare month end reports
โ— Work with accountant in the preparation of year end
โ— Provide data collection and supporting documentation for SRED program
โ— Correspond with the board of directors on all financial matters
โ— Research, understand and implement government programs and subsidies as applicable
โ— Ensure proper business insurance coverage is in place
โ— Prepare annual budget and ensure tracking to budget

๐‹๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ:
โ— Source shipping companies to ensure best shipping price, on-time delivery and any
specific client requirements
โ— Prepare appropriate documents including packing slips, bill of lading and customs documents
โ— Manage relationships with logistics companies and customs broker

โ— Monitor and manage hardware and software
โ— Monitor backup data
โ— Manage data storage (procedure and policy)
โ— IT security

๐‡๐‘ ๐€๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
โ— Maintain and organize employee personnel records
โ— Onboarding and termination of employees
โ— Employee job descriptions
โ— Safety program communication
โ— Payroll tax forms (i.e. ROE, T4, etc)
โ— Benefits administration
โ— Track, arrange and record employee training requirements including WHMIS, Forklift training, welding certification
โ— Administer performance evaluations
โ— Update corporate employee handbook
โ— Administration of compensation / salary programs
โ— Employee / corporate events / celebrations

๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ:
โ— Post secondary education with a focus on finance
โ— Excellent communication skills
โ— Proven ability to learn new software programs quickly
โ— Superb organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
โ— Working knowledge of Sage accounting software and ERP systems (e2 JobBoss) an asset
โ— Experience with a manufacturing company an asset
